Ambassador Hotel Tulsa, Autograph Collection

Location is a little out of the way. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Room was a disappointment. The building is clearly very old and the rooms have been renovated but it’s like the expression “lipstick on a pig” its pretty at first glance, like in the photos but once your in there, it has a more “motel” feel. Very disappointing for an autograph property. They bed is right beside the door, the bathroom is tiny and the closet they just took the sliding doors off and painted over the door tracks. Windows have zero sound proofing, you can hear traffic racing by on the highway and the garbage bins outside were emptied at 5am.

Stayed here for a birthday getaway when our original plans in another location fell through. Can't say enough nice things about the Ambassador. The staff from Michelle and Ashley at the front desk to Callille who drove our shuttle to Natalie the bartender were all terrific! Just what you'd hope for in a high end property. Kind, helpful, welcoming and seemed happy in their work. Didn't know the hotel offered shuttle service, which made our evening so much more fun and worry free. All the amenities in the room were fun. Loved the vintage looking postcard of the hotel. HIGHLY recommend.

We often stay at the Ambassador when in Tulsa. We love the room sizes and the history of the place.

Old building. Overpriced. Understaffed.

My husband and I were visiting Tulsa at the first part of June and he broke his ankle. I cannot tell you how helpful the staff were while he was incapacitated in between the hospital and hotel for five days. If there were a more gracious, concerned, and helpful staff in any hotel anywhere in the world, I would be surprised. From transport back-and-forth between the hospital to helping me with the wheelchair, to asking each day on my husband’s condition … these folks were incredible. The accommodations were classy and clean. The restaurant served wonderfully prepared food, and the location is very central. But the icing on the top were the amazing staff and management! Can’t say enough about this hotel ♥️

I really like this hotel, I’ve stayed here frequently and the service is always excellent. In addition, the staff goes out of their way to help you. However, I arrived last night and decided I’d like to get a meal through room service. I expect the prices to be high because it’s a hotel and it’s room service. The hamburger was $20 including fries. Not that much more than a happy meal in California. However, they add on a delivery charge and service charge that amount to $13. Ridiculous, that’s more than half the price of the hamburger. I can certainly understand a small price to deliver my food, however another service charge. While this was a business trip, and I could’ve put it on my expenses, I simply could not do that in good conscience. They lost incremental revenue with overly aggressive add ons.
