"Below average compared to other Courtyard stays..."

Poor outdoor lighting, there was a pothole in front of building drive. The mattress was very firm. We had to pay for breakfast, I didn't notice that in the booking process. Along with low water pressure. Limited TV stations.

My company decided to dine in house at Courtyard Marriott Harrington, Pa. Our server Morgan was truly served us with a smile. She was professional, warm, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food she prepared for us was delicious! I can't rave enough about the barbecue wings, Cesar Salad , and Margahreta flat bread! Hands down it was the best food I have eaten in a long time! Looking forward to dinning there again. Highly recommend 🙂 Thank you Morgan, our favorite server! 🙂

Morgan was manning the bistro and she was extremely kind and patient with the line of people ordering. There were many older folks and she was really exceptional with them explaining the menu (et al). Nice to observe!

"Signs of wear and tear, litter outside, room average, friendly staff."

This is older Courtyard that is showing signs of wear and tear and is need of a thorough deep cleaning. Mold/mildew in the bathroom shower, loose faucet, light bulbs out and an outlet with no cover. The grounds had scattered litter and the rear parking area needs attention. Minimal landscaping. A couple brought there two dogs in the Bistro area while I was beginning to order. I'm allergic and told them - they didn't care. And I especially have a problem with dogs being around food. We left and did not order. Friendly staff and overall the room was okay and quiet. Next time I'll make sure to book only at hotels that do not allow pets.
