Residence Inn by Marriott Williamsburg

Bed comfort was great, breakfast choices were okay.

The shower was not clean. The sink had big brown, rusty color spots.

I am a lifetime titanium member at Marriott. This hotel lacks in quality, service and consistent front desk responsiveness. Room was worn, bathtub stained, toilet ran all the time, ice maker didn’t work, no daily cleaning service because a “along term stay hotel”. We would definitely not recommend or stay here again.

The rooms are nice and clean. Housekeeping staff is very friendly. Great selection at the complimentary breakfast that changes daily. Pet friendly. Nice location. The kitchen in the suite is excellent!

Front desk staff (aside from the young lady that checked us in) is not friendly and look like they hate their job.

Het was allemaal een beetje vervallen. Ouderwets zwembad en hotel. Ontbijt viel tegen. Dingen in de hotelkamer werkte niet zoals lampen en het fornuis was niet aangesloten. Slechte slaapbank. En we hadden een kakkerlak in de kamer, waardoor we 's avonds laat nog van kamer moesten verwisselen.

The customer service agent Dezhire, and housekeeping was amazing

Toilet made noise throughout the night and room door would not open. We had to open the door for each other. Keys were useless. Doors need to be upgraded and toilet fixed.

My stay here was great! I was alone visiting my boyfriend, and it was easy for me to go pick him up and come back whenever I needed. The room was pretty clean, but it wasn't "perfection." There was some dust buildup and crumbs under the bed and behind the table. I only noticed because I dropped some things and saw it all when I went to retrieve my items. I opted out of housekeeping because I wanted privacy for the weekend with my boyfriend. Also loved the easy and very early check-in! I was checked in by 11 am with minimal issues (My card declined and my bank was giving me issues. Not at all the hotel's fault and they were very understanding!) Also, love that it is 18+ check-in minimum since both my boyfriend and I are only 20 years old, and it is so hard to find places to stay since most are 21+. My only complaint is I did find a couple live roaches in my room by the last day...one I found alive in my water bottle (SO GROSS) and another I found later crawling on the wall when I was getting ready to check out. It could've been because I didn't have any housekeeping come in, but I don't know. The hotel is pet-friendly, and you could hear a couple of dogs barking down the hall, but the rooms are pretty soundproof because it is so large! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely be back if I ever needed!

How close it is to everything the room was pretty the staff at the breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful. It was a woman and a man, and they were so sweet and they really worked to keep everything filled and clean. BestPart of the experience.

The front desk staff was just horrendous your a pet friendly hotel. you have kids running up and done the hallway and the dogs started barking and the front desk called me while I was heading to an event to come back and get our dogs to stop because someone complained which were two dachshunds 14 pounds and 9 pounds. Because they were barking. It’s a pet friendly hotel! Maybe control behavior of your guests I feel bad they started to bark But it was no problem that a couple were fighting so loud you can hear them down the hall I lost $125 due to this and missed my event. We were there one night The clerks answer to everything was did you call to complain. Everything was our fault. No I didn’t. OH and they don’t refund your dog deposit even if they don’t do anything wrong Which was over $100

This hotel is in a great location right in Williamsburg near to everything. The rooms are renovated and large. The breakfast is really good with things for everyone; hot and cold food, lots of healthy choices and lots of breakfast sweets. They have a wonderful staff, and don't skimp on the number of employees. There were always 2 at the front desk, 2 at breakfast, and anytime I exited my room during the day there were 2 maids with carts were always present on my floor if you needed anything. We had 2 rooms and encountered a minor problem with one of them and I would like to thank Kiara at the front desk for handling it so promply and in such a caring fashion. I would also like to thank the general manager, Tae, for following up with us the next day to ensure that everything was fine. We will certainly stay here again when in Williamsburg!
