Morgan Hotel

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I have come to Martha's Vineyard over 20 times and this was the worst place I've stayed and easily the most expensive at $700 a night. I don't know how the ADA hasn't closed them down. They have a wheelchair ramp but you must download an app to your smart phone to get in the hotel. My BLIND step-father would never have been able to stay here nor does my 80-year-old mother have a smart phone. When I got in the room, that was supposed to have two double beds, it was a sleeper sofa and not even good quality. There was also no toilet paper, pubic hair on the towel, and no sheets for the pullout sofa. After calling and texting for over five minutes, someone finally came (30 minutes later in total). He was genuinely nice and apologetic, he said the sofa bed should have been made and offered to do it. It was a shame because I would have loved to stay here again because the location is great.

Digital entry, could not get in because the code did not work, no staff on the property and noone answered the help line. We did not get the room we ordered and there was no air conditioner on a very warm night. The Bathroom was beautiful and the deck was nice to have, but our room was tiny with no dresser or closet to put your belongings in. Our things clothes and things had to be placed on the floor.

Love the location in Oak bluff. Rates are reasonable. I would like to see a 2nd chair in the room for relaxation, watching tv,

The hotel is finished to a high standard and makes the best of it's quaint historical building. There is no reception so access is via an app but it was not difficult to download or operate - a normal keycard will await you on your bed. It's well-located for the local eateries and the seashore and for running/walking along the bike/hike path beside the coast road. No A/C but lovely to go to sleep with the sound of the sea with the balcony door open.

the building is a quirky turn of the century building with rooms on 3 floors up challenging stairs. All rooms are different, and we were given the top floor with a deck looking at the ocean, which was nice. But it was a very small room with king bed with metal poles in front of the wall-mounted TV. There was very little room around the bed for luggage but very comfortable bed and linens. Teeny closet but handy coat rack. Very nicely appointed bath - very pretty tiles and countertop. Door to the deck had a window with only sheers so streetlight shone in all night, then daylight. Only coffee was at the coffee bar in lobby. No on-site mgmt available, but very responsive at their sister hotel in next town. Only key options for front and room doors are with a smart phone app which worked fine once our room was loaded. But not friendly without a smart phone. Location was wonderful in Oak Bluffs - shops and restaurants within a block, plus beach view. Limited parking - we were off season so no problem, but not sure how this works in main season. Overall, we loved the experience!

Can’t be the location!!!! Management was so friendly and accommodating.. The Morgan was very clean, rustic cottage vibe with a modern vibe ! best sleep I have had in a long time ! Comfy king bed . Some rooms are small but cozy There were 26 of us and we all agreed it was a perfect stay and we will be back !

The most notable quality was the attitude in attention I received from the staff. They were very professional and helpful during my stay.

This was the absolute best place to stay!

Nice room and showered .. street Noise did quiet down after 10:00 pm. I imagine summertime noise would be louder. But overall we enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and room cleanliness. 👍
