Morgan Hotel

We were in the room facing the pub across the street. This room was really suitable for only one person. There was only one night stand, not enough hooks, closet or drawer space. No table to eat from or to do any laptop work. No shampoo was provided and the hotel did not have cleaning staff on hand. There were no elevators and only a narrow staircase to go up. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was fairly challenging for two seniors! I wished the hotel had warned us of this limitation. The two positives were that the bathroom was spacious and that they provided a white noise machine to mask the sounds coming from the pub. In the early morning when the garbage truck comes by to pick up all the empty liquor bottles, some of the noise was drowned out by the machine. Overall, the hotel was centrally located but the room was too small for two people to enjoy the stay for very long.

I love the concept and quaintness of the property however I would have liked to have seen an in-room coffee maker and/or a lift to assist those of us that have trouble with navigating old/steep stairs. Otherwise, just perfect. Thank you.

Great stay at the Morgan Hotel in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard. Check-in was easy, room was spotlessly clean & comfotable. The hotel has lots of outdoor porch/balcony space to enjoy the ocean views. Centrally located, so easy walking distance to beaches, shops, restaurants & historical sites. Offshore Ale Co across the street is a great brew pub, good food, fun local vibe. 5 min walk to bus stops that will take you to all island towns, so easy to get to Edgartown and Vineyard Haven. Loved my stay, can’t wait for my next visit.

I'm not a fan of the digital check-in system - and do prefer to have hotel staff for check-in, but I understand the savings.

The property is located within walking distance of the ferry and the main shopping/restaurant area. The room was clean and fairly quiet. They included a white noise machine take that for what it's worth. I found the room tolerable from a noise perspective and I'm a light sleeper. There is no 24/7 attendant. The biggest problem is parking, they do not provide a lot of pass to park anywhere locally; you're on your own. Off-season this is Ok because you can park down the street in the public park, although it is marked for limited use, it's not enforced apparently. I parked my vehicle there five nights overnight and didn't get a ticket but I don't like taking the chance. That's the biggest drawback to this place. Overall it's pretty good and I recommend it, it is a real hotel and a fair price for the quality accommodation especially considering how expensive everything else is on MV. I will probably stay there again next year. No refrigerator in the room but there is a wine cooler. The bed and AC were fine. Bathroom was very clean.

The location was convenient and close to restaurants, shops and transport. We were located in a downstairs room which was very noisy especially at night. There is a restaurant located right next to our window which had bright lights shining all night and very early morning deliveries. The hotel is attractive and well kept however our room was a little tight with space. Also we found the checkin a bit confusing.

The room was very tiny! There is no one around to answer questions. I texted the number to ask for towels to be delivered to the room and was told that they relayed the messqge. Guess what? no towels were brought to the room. This is a REALLY EXPENSIVE place to stay and I expected more.

I enjoyed my 4 day stay at The Morgan Hotel. This boutique hotel is clean and centrally located. Jordan was kind and accommodating. I appreciated the complimentary water bottle and the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. I would definitely stay here, again.

Adorable hotel! Wish I could go back sooner! Adorable room! We had a little porch facing the water. Perfect to share cocktails and snacks with my husband. Staff were friendly and helpful… love the coffee machine, ice machine and water dispenser in the lobby. Would return tomorrow if I could!
