GBit really is great value. the rooms are big and clean and the ocean views are great. the place has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. the diving at Bunaken really is out of this world, so if you’re looking for world class diving on a budget then this is a great option.
the beach is absolutely shocking, it was completely covered in trash when we were there. this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but something really needs to be done about it. we cut our stay short because it was just too depressing looking down at a sea of garbage

Not much to do if/when you don't dive, on a rainy day. Worth spending a bit more for the bungalows with sea view. No wifi at the time we were there.
DEPanorama Backpackers is the perfect place to rewind and enjoy the amazing underwater world of Bunaken while being surrounded by lovely people and animals. The entire staff is friendly and was happy to help with all our questions and requests. They organize fun tours and transportation to your next destination aswell. The price is more than fair as it includes three fresh, healthy and delicious meals per day with vegetarian options available on request. Diving with Sven from Panorama Diving Resort truly made the experience for us, he showed us the best spots on the spectacular reef.

Had an issue with my pickup so I'd maybe consider trying to make your own way. You should be able to get bluebird taxi (there is an app) for about 120-150,000 idr and then a boat for 100,000 idr.

DEThe whole crew is so friendly, funny and helpful, we really felt like staying at a families place 👍🏻 Olivia takes care of everything. Also the food is absolutely delicious. Top spots for diving are very close and Sven is a great dive guide. This is definitely the place to be at Bunaken!
