The host is nice, we did feel welcome and able to ask for help when we needed it. It's nice you can use a kitchen and can purchase snacks/drinks.

The budget room we initially got assigned to felt very cramped and smelled and felt somewhat damp. It didn't have a window outside and is located right beside the kitchen area making it noisy. We soon saw it wasn't very clean. A.o. many insects in the walls and ratpoop. After finding ratpoop on and under the pillows we asked for another room. The guys were very nice and accomodated us fast by giving us another room. This room was definitely an improvement, with a window, more space and it was slightly cleaner. We still found ratpoop, but not in the bed. Still compared to other stays we've had, this was definitely not worth the 850 peso we payed.

The staff is so friendly and really take care of us ! If I come back, I will definitely come to Marano’s house again ! :)
