the bugs outside made it seem almost haunting

Everything was GREAT! Very clean, comfortable beds and well stocked! Location was perfect for a quite peaceful getaway. Too cold for the pool but the hot tub was perfect! We will return.

No complaints...but the living room furniture could be a little bigger and more comfortable.

Fireplace did not work

The resort was nice inside.

The outside of the resort was gross with bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. There was a huge roach inside the kitchen that ran by when I was cooking. Looks like the outside needs pressure washed really well and sprayed with bug spray really good.

There was a midge bugs invasion at the time of our stay that made enjoying the property impossible. Nothing I liked about the property can matter when there millions of mosquitoe-like pests covering all surfaces and flying around.

Great value. Condo itself was spotless and beautiful. Views are beautiful. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is very nice. Pool area has incredible views. Easy parking.

Exterior of the building is getting pretty weathered. Lots of bugs and rust due to location. Very wet, hot and humid so this comes with the territory. Closest store is over the bridge. Not much around except Edenton which is a small little village. Might be better in colder weather. Would not recommend in the summer.

The inside of the property was nice and well-maintained. The outside of the property was covered in Midges and Spiders. If you had your curtains open at night, they would swarm your windows. The bugs brought hundreds of spiders that encased the building. If you park under the building, your car gets covered in spiders and spider poop.

The bugs. The outside of the resort was covered in flying non biting midges. Each time we needed to leave our room, we were swarmed by these bugs. The outside of the resort was white, but because of the bugs, it was dirty looking.This was terrifying. Also, driving around the area was terrible because your car was covered in these mosquitoe looking bugs. This, of course, was not the fault of the resort, but the resort should have informed us of the issue. After 5 p.m., there was no one working at the resort, so if there was an issue, you had to leave a message. We really like the room but would probably never return.
