Trillium Resort & Spa

Property was fine but it really felt like self-service for check/in ; key were available on counter in an envelope with our name on it but no greeting then or for dinner reservation. Only contact was when we checked out.

Staff needs to up skilled for dinner service. Wine served in wrong glasses. Limited knowledge of menu but very willing to get information. Bathroom in cottage needs care.

We had to leave at 11:30 pm and drive back to Toronto because the room was 92 degrees. We contacted after hour staff at 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm and they couldn’t help . I’ve sent the property an email asking for a refund due to the fact our trip was cancelled early due to the heat .

Office was closed at 5pm and we called after hours number and the gentleman offered us a fan but then said not sure if I have one .

A beautiful property. The lake was perfect. Beach area lovely. All the boards kayaks and canoes it was fantastic! Staff at the resort were all wonderful and accommodating.

It could you use a bit of a refresh. The chalet probably shouldn’t have carpet as it had a bit of a smell to it when you entered the cottage. The ceiling fan was very noisy as the chain vibrated off the fan which was loud in the evening. Perhaps adding more fans when heat wave would be nice.
