The food exceeded our expectations. So did the hospitality. They also gave dog treats and amenities which was a first for us.

We had the opportunity to enjoy both lunch and dinner, and the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The meals were not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Each dish showcased attention to detail in flavour and presentation, enhancing the overall dining experience. The service was attentive, and the ambiance perfectly complemented the food's quality.

One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the deck area overlooking the lake. Adding Muskoka chairs and a small table would create a more welcoming and comfortable space for guests to relax and take in the beautiful lake view. It would be a simple yet impactful addition to elevate the overall guest experience.

It was very beautiful calm and super luxury cottage. Unfortunately the stuff the desk was so rude, charged me extra room rate because my husband is in my room. The booking clearly said more than two person in the room will get extra charge. I was asked to pay extra room price cause of being two people in the room. So sad for my husband, they warned us to call police and I did receive a call from the police. So they complained to the police instead of Expedia or hotel.com Very very bad experience on my birthday gateway. Ruined my happy day. Stay away , respect yourself for getting extra charges from a worst breakfast and meal plus if you are not white, then you will be treated inhuman. The hot tub was half empty which you can’t use, the out door sauna was not functioning so no service from so called resort.

There is no EV charger The fireplace did not work and it was too cold The mattress was too bad There was no facility to reach the hot tub and the Sauna, even with no hanger The Sauna was not warm enough to use There was no technician to fix the fireplace The floor was too cold

Chalets are getting a bit dated, needs updated amenities like kitchenette, mini fridges etc. spa services are hard to book on weekends due to staffing.
