El Mul Golan Kibbutz Country Lodging

Spent three night there. It rained quite heavily.. NOT the fault of the Sha'ar Hagolan Country Lodging. It's LIFE. A big PLUS: the bed was the BEST I had in my 12-day travel around Israel.

The room Is a single room. Contains a bed for two. HARDLY space for a suitcase. NO place for a comfy chair. On account to the rain I spent more time in the room than desired. nIt was awful. Cramped space. The so-called chair - DISASTER. On January 1 'breakfast was delivered' to the room. Where and how to sit and enjoy a breakfast I would be ashamed to offer any guest! On the second morning I was graciously allowed into the kibbutz dining-room where I was sable to enjoy a proper and delicious breakfast. SORRY - I have been to Sha'ar Hagolan twice : the first and the last time.

It’s a beautiful kibbutz in a nice location. It’s also the location of one of the earliest human towns, about 8000 years ago!

Beautiful peaceful location near the Sea of Galilee. Very quiet with a great pool and playground for the kids. Staff were friendly and room was clean

The breakfast was overpriced and few options. Mostly just porridge or sandwiches. There was also an alarm that went off in the evening and we weren’t given any directions as to what to do in the case of alarms. So we felt quite stressed and helpless. Luckily nothing was wrong but give the political climate it should be discussed with non-Israeli guests.

מקלחת מזעזת, ללא זרם. ארוחת בוקר בסיסית ביותר. מיטה לא נוחה.

המקום כפרי ורגוע, אווירה טובה וממש קרוב לכביש. אח שלי כבד שמיעה ועוור והוא הסתדר טוב מאוד עם הלינה. הצוות נחמד ועזר בכל מה שבקשנו. נתנו לו שירות חדר כל יומיים וזה היה ממש נחמד עבורו.

החדר קצת קטן והמיטות ישנות. אח שלי איש גדול ולכן זקוק ליותר מרחב, אבל בסופו של דבר היציבות של החדר והצוות עשו את השהייה ממש טוב
