We absolutely love staying in this river side motel. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The view and sound of the flowing river can be beat. It is maybe half a mile or a mile down the road from Stanley so it was quick to go get to restaurants but nice to still feel like we were away from the ‘crowd’. If mountain escapes, waking up to have coffee by a flowing river and morning fetch session with the sweetest dog are your vibe, this place is for you! If you are taking a trip to stay in and watch tv.. maybe not. (We did do a little work from here and the WiFi worked great.) PS do not let Titus trick you into playing fetch with sticks. He’s not allowed because he chews the sticks but he will get his toy if you ask him to!

We loved our stay! Beautiful very usable back yard with a river and awesome views of the sawtooth mountains! Very nice staff and very accommodating. Clean where it mattered altho walls could have some attention...

Paid $379 for one night…So old. Duck tape on the front screen door. Everything so old and beat up. Little mildew smell too.

"Glamping Awesomeness "

This was a glamping trip, so the cabins offered everything we needed for that and then some - I've read some reviews of this place that I don't think are fair/objective. You should educate yourself on what amenities are and are not available, you should call and ask questions, leaving a bad review because you didn't do your own homework, or had unrealistic expectations isn't anybody's fault but your own. With that said, would definitely stay here again for glamping trips, if I wanted posh, 5 star accommodations I would stay somewhere that offered that. Lastly, the "backyard" for all cabins, being right on the Salmon river anx being able to hear the river and not cars on the road is worth the price of admission folks, if you want to spend less, then book across the street, or somehwere, where you have no view, or have a view of the parking lot...
