Asia Hotel Fergana

Its a lovely old building that will probably get a big make over in the next few years. I was itching to re do the garden, throw out the soviet era art and fill it with all the beautiful things in Samarkand. The rooms are a good size with comfy beds and very clean. Breakfast was a highlight. Its in a good spot too and easy walking to everything you want to see. If you need a pool then the Movenpick over the road does a day rate at $35

A beer on the terrace was $5 which in Uzbekistan is a lot. Don't try the wine in the fridge it was off and warm. The staff were lovely and very helpful but it would be nice to have a little more service for example on the roof terrace for drinks or a way to really enjoy this lovely space. It will be done up and so I would suggest enjoy it now before the price rockets in future.

This looks more like a small resort than a hotel. It has swimming pools, gardens, internal hotels... It is a big gaudy. It is clean and comfortable. The location is not that great but then again there is really nothing to do in Fergana City. We had a tour guide, so for us this didn't matter. Breakfast was very good.

We found this hotel to be quiet with very nice gardens. Maybe it's been upgraded lately as we had lifts and an ATM. English speaking staff were a bit thin on the ground. The room was large, perfectly clean but a bit old fashioned. Dinner was O.K. Breakfast was fine on one of our mornings but the second morning there was less choice as a large tour group got there before us. The laundry we had done was very cheap and beautifully done. If you need a laundry service use this!

It's clean and comfortable. The location is decent. The check in check out was smooth. The rooms are quite spacious. One guy at the reception was super helpful who sent us to the most amazing restaurant in fergana, since their own restaurants were not working.

This hotel is barely up to the mark. There is construction going on everywhere. Sauna and the indoor pool were under construction. The outdoor pool was still getting filled. There was no electric kettle in the rooms. The shower was super slow. It took us a really long time to take a shower. The mininbar fridge door was also broken. The quilts were kept without the quilt cover(super unhygienic). And even after asking them to put it on they just would not. There is a bathtub but the plug was missing. Their main restaurant was also out of order. The other restaurant refused to serve us lunch. The breakfast is a joke. The dishes were wet and waiters don't even bother. There was a paint job going on right outside our rooms. The house keeping staff makes a lot of noise. It was not a pleasant experience. I sincerely hope they improve.

The Internet was awful in my room, I could not make Zoom calls. The network and quality of the connection should be updated. Otherwise all was well

Very nice hotel grounds with shade and trees located in a central location in town. Comfortable room with all the amenities. The breakfast that came with my room was above average. The only issue was my room door lock was broken.

Nice sized room and was well supplied. Nice area that was quiet the one night I was there. The breakfast options were also good.

My door lock was not working but nobody broke in:) I need to learn Russian (not too many speak English in this part of the world).

Two night stay her at the beginning of a longer trip. Hotel in midst of major renovation when we stayed, and not busy, but pleasant enough gardens and adequate rooms, adjustment made for local decor. Service was friendly if sometimes a little clunky but the whole somehow a little redolent of the country’s soviet past.
