Asia Hotel Fergana

Breakfast was very good.

The Hotel is in the center of the city, close to principal parks and shopping areas. Unlike other hotels in Ferghana, the Asia Hotel has a private area with a quiet garden and two swimming pools.

Hotel Asia is on a busy road and spread over several buildings that share a nice garden. My room was upstairs and there is no elevator. The room was split-level, with a large seating area and bathroom down and the bedroom upstairs. The decor, like the whole hotel is very dark and dated, like Europe 50 years ago. My bed was very hard, but all linen and towels are crisp and clean. The breakfast room is hidden in the back of the garden and here the interior is kitsch with painted ceiling, crystal chandeliers, velvet chairs, mirror walls and gold plated Roman columns . . . the breakfast buffet is really poor with instant coffee and bad service. This is also where the bar is, but the choice of drinks is very limited. Overall Hotel Asia has a lot of potential, but is in desperate need of renovation under the supervision of an interior decorator.

Spa and the garden

I was impressed with the hotel’s garden! Beautiful flowers, plants and trees and happy birds singing. I’ve never seen such beautiful garden. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was very nice. I liked their indoor and outdoor pool and I also used sauna. Breakfast is delicious.

Constant indoor smoking in a room in a non-smoking floor. Guests next to my door smoked a lot and it seemed they didn’t care when the hotel’s staff was asking them not to smoke. The bed’s mattress is very hard and uncomfortable.
