Beautiful inn, friendly staff. Was able to grab the trolley right out front! It was unfortunate that we were there for the BLIZZARD of the century!!! Half of our activities were cancelled because of the impending ‘doom’ of snow in the forecast. It took us 2.5 hrs to get out of New Orleans. The breakfast was ok, Different every morning.

This was one of the best stays ever. I had no idea when I booked that it was a Bed and Breakfast!! It’s decorated to antique and stylish! The Street car running directly in front is and added bonus! Our concierge served us delicious breakfast options each morning! Although there should be non pork options. The are around the hotel is very lovely and friendly. We strolled 3 to 4 blocks everyday enjoying the local eateries in the neighborhood. The entire staff from concierge to cook to the groundskeeper were very pleasant! I will definitely be booking and recommending Canal Street Inn!

Although it’s 15 minutes to Bourbon Street on the tram it’s a great place to come home to at the end of a hectic day of exploring. Our room was huge and super comfy once Dee kindly replaced my rock hard pillow with a lovely soft one. The staff are kind and helpful. Parking on site at the rear of the property is great. Would return.

Breakfasts were sweetly prepared but usually cold. I’d strongly recommend you switch to a buffet style breakfast with hot food kept in chafing dishes. And maybe some healthy options such as plain yogurt etc.
