Beautiful historic house in a good location.easy to get everywhere by car or tram from here. Large comfortable room. Welcoming host who made us delicious local style food tor breakfast. Good security with modern door locks. Free parking

Out of hours check in was stressful because the QR code failed and the house looked empty from the parking lot. When we rang the bell Monica was able to tell us how to get in.

Lighting in our sitting room was a bit harsh - either very white recessed lights or one very yellow lamp.

Comfortable room, clean, good breakfast, quiet and convenient location. The main reception/meal rooms were beautiful. Super convenient to the streetcar service. Very nice staff. I loved the breakfasts, as they were unusual and local. My wife was not as thrilled, she would have preferred an alternative breakfast offering. There are 2 exceptional restaurants within a couple blocks. Overall, a great place to stay that's somewhat near the busy French Quarter but far enough away to give you some peace and quiet in an elegant neighborhood.

Bathroom fixtures were out of date and didn't work well. They need to be replaced. At breakfast, the staff put out small quantities of coffee, milk, etc, on a beverage table which kept running out. All the breakfast guests seemed frustrated by this. Simple solution is to increase the quantities so guests don't have to keep hunting down the kitchen crew.

The staff here is so friendly! It felt like we were visiting relatives. They weren't overly so, though. As an introvert, I'm not a fan of forced conversations. We chatted, but we're left to our day quickly. I would be remiss in not mentioning the delicious breakfast, too. OMG! It's a highlight of our stay.

The first night, we were a little chilled in our room, and the space heater provided didn't work. We mentioned it at breakfast. The situation was righted immediately. The rest of our stay was warm and cozy.
