Mercury Apart Hotel

The person at the front desk was great but the room we were placed in was terrible. Nothing looked like the photos and we were placed in a room right above the bar unexpectedly. There were tiny ants on the counter, so any food we had needed to be kept high. Flooring had loose pieces. Bathroom sink needs work and they also use Qtip as screws to hold things in place.

Louis at the front desk expressed stellar customer service. The location is great. The hotel conditions could use a slight upgrade but overall it was a great stay. I usually stay in Brickell when in Miami but would stay here again if I’m in the south of fifth area.

You get what you pay for. First night, air conditioning didn’t work. The air conditioning was dripping and leaking from the bathroom ceiling because the “coils were frozen”. Hole in the bathroom ceiling. The TV didn’t work. No channels, no antenna, no apps. The best part of the property are the pool/jacuzzi and location.

We stayed in a studio that could use some updating. We noticed other rooms had been remodeled but ours was not. If you have trouble stepping into a high bathtub this room would not work for you as the shower was in a jet tub. No curtain so water all over the floor. The bed was comfortable as it was a memory foam mattress. Couldn’t figure out the tv’s. Kitchen and living room area were nice and spacious. Windows are thin and we had a cocktail bar under us where we could hear every conversation for people hanging outside on the sidewalk/street. Not quiet! Great communication with the hotel staff. Each door has their own code keypad so it was easy to enter when we arrived after midnight. Good location and could walk to most areas.

I stayed for 7 days during the time I stayed, they didn't clean one day, they didn't change the towels or the sheets, I asked them to clean and they said they wouldn't have time.

Bathroom door was not working, TV remote control missing, no ice, no supplies. Poor service and no bed sheets for sofa bed. No one able to help.
