It was in nice location and had onsite parking.

We didn’t know know that they didn’t serve food on a Monday and had to go out for food and when we returned at 9 ish the place/pub was closed and we wanted to use it and was not informed it was closed when we left to get food prior . We were told though that if we can back after 11 the place would be closed but no mentioned they closed pub and restaurant /hotel doors at 8:30 ish and no one would be onsite .also we paid for breakfast in morning and was told bacon sandwiches were a option . We tried to order this but was inform on poached eggs on toast was on menu and there was a pastry selection on offer on bar we went there and there was one left and was told the chef was making more but none were presented before we left in morning . Had to ask for towels and check in was very clunky and time consuming as we arrived at 6:30 pm and were keen to get food and freshened up before going to find food . Staff were very polite though and the one pint we had was good . My advice is that full disclosure be given as we probably might of reconsidered stay if we knew it was going to be like this tbf .

They accommodated a late check-in by putting our keys in a key box. Polite and helpful staff.

Only one small fan in the room and it was a warm evening.

Comfortable

The breakfast was not to my liking a bit slap dash and the room was too hot even with the window open needed some air on or a fan

A comfortable hotel with good staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. We also had breakfast and the manager offered to cook us whatever we wanted.
