DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown - Lakeside

The hotel is in very close to proximity to Amtrak if that is part of your travel plan. Staff are very helpful and front desk is staffed 24/7.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The carpets in the room felt sticky, the bathroom floor was very slippery like there was oil residue posing a potential hazard. All of the furniture (desk, night stands, tv stand, etc.) were very dusty. The vent on the air conditioning unit was also so dusty it was almost black and caused an influx of allergy issues. The lighting was also very dim and only lamps were available to use. The toilet screamed every time it was flushed.

2 stat motel grade place

Place needs to be updated, both rooms and lobby , etc. plumbing is very loud. We booked a room for 3 but only two bath towels. Room was clean and employees were great

The elevator in the garage was broken and never told to us at check in so we had to walk all our luggage down the garage ramps. Apparently its been broken a long time according to hotel staff which is unacceptable given tje hotel size. The front desk staff gave no details about shuttles or hotel accommodations we had to find out ourselves. The bar was dirty, outdated and had chair covers slipping off the bar stools that revealed cracked appolstery. Rooms very outdated. For the price Hilton should do better. Convenience was great as well as shuttle driver, otherwise very poorly rated.

Shower grout had mold

My number one rating goes to the staff. Starting with the front desk, the maid s and the food staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. thank you DoubleTree.

Unfortunately the elevator from the parking garage was out of service!

Property could use some updating. Other than that, staff was great and hotel was clean.

The hotel showed signs of wear and was dirty (carpets, floors...) . Service was poor in hotel restaurant "Stadium 3 Bar & Grille." We were over charged at the Coffee shop. We did not receive housekeeping to replace towels, etc. When we called the desk to let them know, we were told we needed to go to the desk to get fresh towels. When I went to the desk, I was told they don't have towels there and someone would bring them to our room. No one came. My husband had to call the desk again. Finally, someone brought towels to our room.
