DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown - Lakeside

The hotel was in a great location for a football game. Walkable to the stadium and all the bars. We had a view of the water, but we also overlooked the main tailgate area and the fans started tailgating early! You'd think it would be quiet up on the 18th floor but we could hear music at 5:30 a.m. The A/C unit was also really loud when it kicked in. Breakfast was a bit expensive for a buffet ($25 per person) but it was also a game day and there's not a lot around otherwise. The drink specials were a great price though.

The bed was super comfortable. Rooms with great air conditioning. Staff very kind and helpful

Great hotel for game day. This was a nice stay. We will be back.

Convenient but lacking housekeeping. Fan didn't work in bathroom so moisture was present. Housekeeping left towels only two. No washclothes or hand towels or shower mat.

Elevator out of order and staff said nothing at check-in so we walked down 3 floors to lobby. Bathroom was dirty behind door and under toilet. Room was by road plenty of noise and on game day the parking lot down behind the wall by railroad tracks was a giant tailgate starting at 7am. The bar on site doesn't have enough chairs for people to sit in and yet they keep broken chairs on site, and the chairs all have covers on them as they are so worn out. The breakfast is overpriced and they have a toaster that must be 20 years old as it takes forever to toast an English muffin. This place is in need of a serious upgrade and we will not stay here again.

Staff was rude. No maid service when requested. No towels when requested two times.

Conditions ok. People very nice and helpful. The shuttle was 10/10 and a big reason we chose to stay

I arrived at 8pm did not get settled into my room till 1am.I had to change my room three times due to bathtub having black stains, shower handle fell off doing my shower. Overall place needs updated very dark and gloomy.
