Hyatt Place Kansas City/Overland Park/Metcalf

This hotel was. very clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I loved that they used real plates and silverware to cut down on the waste. They had fruit flavored water filling stations available to fill our bottles with.

I am very pleased with this whole experience. The room was great and the breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts.

The hotel is beautiful since the renovation, but they installed extremely dim mirrors. And there isn't even a ceiling light in the vanity area. I had to go out to the car so I could see to put my make-up on in the morning.

The Hyatt Place in Overland Park is fantastic! Customer Service was excellent, offering replacement items that travellers forget at no additional charge and complimentary water bottles at check in. The room size is huge, offering plenty of space to spread out. The complimentary breakfast is a major win—multiple, quality options with hot, tasteful coffee (a rare find!). Plus, the gathering spaces are perfect for relaxing or working. Highly recommend for a comfortable, quality experience.

I stayed here while attending a Manager's conference at SelectQuote. The room was very comfortable. The bed was of a very high quality and my quality of sleep was very comparable with my home. The fitness studio is nice for a hotel and includes a Peloton (very unusual for a hotel in my experience).
