Great locations, loved the little courtyard and pool (though I did not use it).

The bathroom door was broken/didn’t shut.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was right next to the pool, which was clean and refreshing. Our room was also clean with comfortable beds and a nice shower. The ice bar was great. We loved the bartenders.

Wonderful boutique hotel.

Due to recent issues with a slumlord rental situation going on at Lowerline Street uptown, I was recently forced to take upon myself a bit of a staycation and wanted to do that in the French Quarter since it is not a neighborhood I'm able to spend as much time in as I would like to. I wish I had stayed at this hotel every night that I needed one and I thought about it but it was the first one that I stayed at and I had a few on my list that I wanted to try. This one was my first choice to try and I should have just stayed with it because it was the best one by far I love the privacy and I also will say that they are very accommodating and were even very helpful to a good friend of mine who was not able to find me right away because of their phone being dead. Brian is the overnight manager who helped me with my reservation and got me a fantastic rate with all of the conditions I asked for which were not too many but still very accommodating for same day reservation. Though he could not guarantee that the room would be ready before their check-in time of 3:00 p.m. he noted to let me receive a call if so and I surely received a call around 12:30 p.m. saying that the room was ready and I appreciated that because I had just gone shopping and had a lot of things I needed to put down. I was checked in by Jerome who was very helpful the next morning as well those times he explained things that I would need to know even if they were things I might have not thought about needing to be explained at the time. He was very helpful in regards to me needing to check out 30 minutes late and made sure housekeeping didn't even knock on my door until then. I booked a regular King this is something I was advised to do as opposed to a premium King which overall is very similar based on what I was told just as the price was very similar. This room has all the basic amenities one would want from a hotel that seems to be a high three-star more like a four-star field to its quality and characteristics. The lack of bathroom was the only thing I didn't plan for which I was told before I booked the room so it wasn't anything I would knock points off for and was able to get one of my robes from Storage. At first I didn't think that the room had any towels but I found that they were all under the sink and that there were plenty of them and even though by that point I had already been brought towels by the front desk but that was my fault for not noticing that they were already under the sink. The bed is very comfortable with a lot of pillows and there is an extra blanket that I like a lot since I don't need them any blankets usually. I really wish I had gone to check out the pool while I was there but I will definitely be able to say that I did that after next time I stay there. The level of privacy and descretion is second to none for the French Quarter hotels in my opinion because it is a collection of different buildings with a private Courtyard and access being private in general overall and monitored by security 24/7. Housekeeping was excellent with a shout out to Linda for being so quick to deliver a bar of soap to me as well as towels and to Irma for cleaning my room! (Always remember to tip your housekeepers even if you dont get to meet them by leaving an envelope or cash in room for them). I would love to try the food & beverage options next time but major shout outs to Brian firstly, and to Jerome and Linda for their help with making my short stay feel so second-nature. My compliments to the very fine Hotel Provincial.
