the side hostel they sent me to wasn't too bad

this "central hostel" has been closed for a while and nothing on its page indicates that. instead i was sent to their side hostel a little further away. i wish there was any warning or sign "central hostel" was closed before booking it.

Small dorms (4 beds) Clean showers Good location Friendly cleaning staff

Hostel staff texted me past 8PM telling me they've thrown my things out of the hostel because I didn't pay. I've spent 9 days in this hostel. Always paid. Except over the weekend, there was no staff at the reception. How was I supposed to pay? Instead of asking me when we could meet, they resorted right away to threats and made me feel very unsafe. There was not a single warning or even attempt to communicate. I've traveled extensively in my life and it's the first time I get treated like this. Additional but unrelated: They asked me to let them know in advance when I would check in. I did. Then they texted and said to let them know 15 minutes before arriving. I instead texted 25 minutes before arriving. Still, they let me freeze outside for nearly half an hour when they could have just given me the PIN code to open the door.

Amazing design, balcony, nice corridor, good beds.

The beds are simple, compared to the rest of the hostel, which is very well done.
