The only positive that we had on this trip, was by far the restaurant. We ate the first night and had some issues with our waitress and service. The acting manager Dominic, was helpful, understanding, professional, and kind. He offered us a resolution and tuned our experience around. Whatever they are paying them there, isn’t enough.

Where do I even start, price I paid at check in was different from the price I was promised online. First night we were out all day, got back to the room ready to get in bed. Traveling with my wife and two children, one of which is a one year old baby so we have a sleep schedule and early bed time. When we arrived back at the room the air conditioning was not working at all, almost 80 degrees in the room. Upon calling front desk the young kid that was working said he would send someone up. 45 minutes later maintenance shows up, no urgency at all. At this point we are an hour past the kids bedtime and they are unable to sleep due to the heat. Maintenance man failed to fix the a/c. When he pulled off the cover of the A/C to try and fix it, the unit was covered mold, dust and immediately bothered our allergies, it was really disgusting. I called down to the front desk and told them the situation and requested we be moved to a room with working air so I can get the kids to bed. The front desk kid starting getting smart with me, saying he needs verification from the maintenance man first. (Like I’m trying to pull a fast one by moving my family to a different room in the middle of the night). Ridiculous. At this point we are two hours into this debacle, the kid says we can move rooms but we have to move all of our stuff to the other room when we went. That’s when I lost it, I explained it was already 11 pm and I’m not packing up our whole room, we just wanted to go to sleep. He said they needed to make the room available, which makes absolutely zero sense considering the room was not habitable because of the heat. I requested a manager and he agreed that the kids request was ridiculous and let us leave our stuff to go sleep in all different room. The next morning was check out, I wanted to extend our stay by one more night. I talked to manager on duty and they refused to make the situation right, saying they “Fixed it” like it was a privilege to have A/C.

Great location, beach and restaurant. Friendly staff and easy access to beach, park, shopping and entertainment. New owner group representatives need to be more positive and pay closer attention to the clientel that stay at this resort. People have been coming there for years for a reason.

Great location and easy access to all the good things in the area. Good restaurants, great shopping. The beach is always wonderful! The staff makes this right sized resort a pleasurable place to stay!

We come back year after year because we always have a great time. The staff and guests are friendly and fun to be around. We love the beach and pool areas and also enjoy going to Peanut Island and the Blue Heron Bridge. Some of the best diving and snorkeling in Florida is here if you pay attention to the tides.

The Palm Beach Shores Resort & Vacation Villas is a wonderful place to spend your vacation time We really enjoyed the staff members, they were very polite and professional at their job. Very pleased customers!!!
