Juan was great!! Excellent service and very fast. The hotel has a great lobby and lots of space to hang out. Breakfast was good too and the room was spacious.

Juan was amazing in the valet, knowledgeable, proactive in explaining the process and provided quick responsive service upon an early check in!

I had a very late check-in around 11 o’clock. Alana at the front desk was so gracious greeting me with kindness and patience. When I got to my floor, I could hear music playing quite loudly already in the corridor. As I got to my room, I noticed it was coming from the room next to mine. While I don’t like to be the one to make these kinds of calls, given the light hour and volume I decided to call downstairs to ask the front desk to please intervene. Alana responded and handled it with total professionalism and grace! The music was turned down and Alana texted me afterwards to let me know that she had spoken to the couple and it was taken care of! Thank you, Alana for making my business travel in Richmond wonderful!

Our reservation was listed under a completely different name. Took 40 min for us to check in.

Be aware that with construction in the parking deck, there is not enough valet parking for the hotel (which was an unpleasant surprise arriving back at the hotel late at night!) We mentioned that we would be parking when we checked in and there was no warning, just “you’ll deal with parking attendants to arrange that.”

I stay at The Graduate Richmond once or twice a month, and have stayed in several different rooms over the past 2 years. They're very clean, and most of the rooms are comfortable. But for the room price, hotel age, and location, I haven't seen much consistency in the condition of the room I have been put up in, specifically w.r.t. bathrooms (updated vs aging and cfackign at the edges, or lacking aome key supplies) and upkeep of room amenities. Since I mostly just care about the bed and the quiet, I keep coming back. Hence the 4/5 stars.
