The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa - Asheville

My wife and I travel to Asheville as often as we can, and the centerpriece of all of our stays is the Grove Park Inn. The staff, service, and ambiance are all consistently exceptional and this stay was no exception.

Our recent stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn was, overall, an average experience with some clear highlights and a few notable drawbacks. The property itself is undeniably unique, with a historic charm and setting that make it stand out. Our accommodations were comfortable and satisfactory, offering a good balance of character and modern convenience. One of the true bright spots of the trip was the golf experience at the resort course. The staff there were exceptional—kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely accommodating—which made for a very enjoyable and memorable outing. Where the experience fell short, however, was in the food and beverage category—specifically when it came to the balance between cost and quality. Unfortunately, our first evening set the tone. We chose to dine at the resort’s premier restaurant, Sunset Terrace, expecting a standout experience. Instead, our meal for a group of seven—costing nearly $900—took an unusually long time to reach the table. More disappointing was that much of the food arrived at only lukewarm temperature. While we are not the type to complain or send dishes back, the experience led us to make a collective decision not to return to that particular restaurant for the remainder of our four-night stay. On a positive note, we did try several of the other dining options on property, which proved to be significantly better in both service and quality. In summary, the Omni Grove Park Inn offers a distinctive setting, solid accommodations, and excellent golf with outstanding staff. However, the inconsistency in dining—particularly at what is positioned as a flagship restaurant—left something to be desired, especially given the price point. With some improvements in that area, the overall experience could easily move from average to truly exceptional.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views, the restaurants and bars all were awesome, but unfortunately the parking and valets ruined the visit.

Each and every staff member we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to a future visit. Absolutely a stunning property.

The Omni Grove Park Inn is an experience like no other. The property is gorgeous. There are many places to walk. Lots to do. The spa is gorgeous. Make sure you book a spa appointment way ahead of your visit. The spa pool is wonderful. There is a small trail you can walk and the art gallery is outstanding , not to be missed. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with amazing views of the mountains.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The scenery is stunning.

The property is a bit run down.

How peaceful and secluded it is.

Not to meny options to eat in the restaurant the cocktails was really bad not flavor no variety and to expensive.
