Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine

I didn't like that I had put i sign outside my door to come back later to clean, but the cleaning person still unlocked the door and came in the room while we were getting dressed

Located close to Grapevine Mills Mall & restaurants.

Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint & some updates.

The Hyatt Place Grapevine was an unexpected layover when my flight was canceled due to weather. Even though my travel plans changed at the last minute, I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient and comfortable this hotel turned out to be. Not knowing the area, I booked the Hyatt Place Grapevine because it was located near DFW and had plenty of places within walking distance. The hotel rooms are exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt Place: clean, comfortable, and well designed for a short stay. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which made an already stressful travel day much easier. I also appreciated that the hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle, although it is worth noting that service ends at 11:00 p.m. The gym is great, the little market is convenient, and for a one-night stay, it met all of my needs. Having restaurants and shopping nearby was an added bonus and made it easy to relax without needing a rental car. If I ever find myself needing to stay near DFW again, I would not hesitate to book this hotel.

Beds were small,bathroom was small, room felt humid, A/C was loud, needs to be updated. I regretted paying $200 for that hotel

This location was a great alternative to the host hotel for the conference I was attending. The hotel was on the shuttle route which was an added bonus.

Was one of several recommended conference hotels. Kind staff, older furniture and rooms. A full breakfast was served each morning. Carpeted rooms, so held slight odor...maybe from dampness or pets. It seemed more like a motel with indoor walls, to me. AC was controlled at unit instead of a thermostat. I definitely felt safe, but wouldn't stay there again. Not enough outlets for 3 people with chargeable devices. Microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock and all lights in the room were occupying the plugs, so had to be unplugged. Beds were comfy and towels and sheets were clean. There were a lot of family oriented businesses in the area and lots of other hotels on the property.

It was nice friendly fast service at front desk. Place was clean and comfortable to stay at and close to mall most importantly.

This hotel is beginning to show its age. I rent at Hyatt Place for the studio apartment convenience. Unfortunately, the sofa cushions were so worn that I needed to stack one on top of the other to achieve some comfort. For breakfast, I always enjoy oatmeal, this hotel no longer serves fresh oatmeal, just that instant garbage. When I travel and hotel operators are asking for $150 a night and more for a mid-range hotel, I expect everything to be provided and in working order. I would not stay here a second time.
