The staff were lovely— helpful, kind, friendly. The meal at Camelia was extraordinary

The shower flooded the bathroom. We couldn’t turn it off!! Rain poured in the bedroom window soaking the window sill and the carpet!! The bed was so high I need a chair to help me get in!

The property was stunning and the building was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were lovely and excellent sizes for a family.

Even though it is “family friendly” the facilities don’t really cater for families very well. This is ideal and perfect for adults but won’t be returning as a family. Swimming pool can only be used for an hour in the morning and in the evening. Restaurants don’t offer a great kids meal, so couldn’t go in the lovely restaurants had to stay in the bar. We had terrible service in the bar, which meant we didn’t get served for 35 minutes. We then waited 70 minutes for food, which was burger and chips for the little one. We got told after 70 minutes of waiting that there were no fries. Not a great experience and this put us off eating at the hotel a second night. We ate out at miller and carter the second evening which was phenomenal.

It’s in a lovely country setting. Nice country house, but with modern amenities.

The gym and spa were very good and breakfast was excellent.
