Residence Inn by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek

We've been staying in this hotel for Christmas for several years now and it gets worse every year. Finally, it's gotten just disgusting and there's no way we'll stay here again. Marriott should be ashamed. There is peeling wallpaper in the lobby that for over a year now has been "repaired" with a stapler. The kitchenette floor has not been cleaned in a very long time. Something has dripped down the light fixture in the kitchen and not been cleaned. The shower had gross, dirty gunk in the corner, likely semen that was not cleaned. The employees here are evidently not paid well enough to care about the quality of their work at all. The second room they put us in, smaller and more disgusting than the first, reeked of cigarette smoke. They offered us a diy solution, a poisonous gas machine. Nothing in a hotel should be DIY. Never again.

Access to shopping an many choices for eating

Room was fine, but I would never stay here again. It seems as this hotel is being used by someone (HUD maybe?) for long term housing of elderly and perhaps mentally challenged people. Strange people roaming the halls at all hours. I didn’t feel particularly safe inside the hotel. The hotel itself was in a nice area with shopping and restaurants.

For people with pets only Warning: "Not Recommended." Just came from a residence in in NC. Dog friendly. Great room, first floor next to door with dog bags and trash can. No charge for dog. Got to Residence Inn in Beavercreek, got charged $100 nonrefundable for one night for a dog under 15 lbs. Put me on the third floor next to lobby elevator. Took dog outside not only no bags no trash can. Went next door to store with outside garbage can. Did not want to put in the lobby trash. Last time there for us. Mark, Naperville IL

Was here to see my son. The front desk was rude and very unfriendly at check in. The room smelled couch uncomfortable to even sit on and the coffee maker was very small for the full kitchen. And the pet area was a land mine because of fur parents not picking up after their dogs.

The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and very very helpful. We so appreciated that. However, the furniture in the room was very uncomfortable. The sink was at our knees and difficult to use. The breakfast was almost uneatable. I had oatmeal every morning. Could not eat the eggs.

The staff was amazing, super helpful and accommodating the entire stay. I would definitely recommend and stay there again. The room was comfortable and well maintained also.

The hotel looks great and updated. I went to take a shower and the pressure was so low, I couldn't even rinse the shampoo out of my hair. I will not stay at this hotel again
