Lovely room, cleanliness excellent, reveption staff lacking experience

Staff couldnt be more helpful, had a lovely 1 night break. Would definately recommend. Rooms lovely and spacious and comfy beds. Only thing that niggled with us was the fact the bed was 2 singles put together so a crack appeared in the night. This wouldnt stop me from returning though as i couldnt fault anything else. We decided to have an evening meal at the hotel and were very impressed by the food. This was my first experience with Hallmark Hotels and it wont be the last :).

Dirty bedding hairs etc, dirty bathroom tiles dust in every room curtains smelt horrible, found cheese on the food which wasnt ordered, cobwebs on ceiling Dissapointing!

Very disappointed by our room not as hotel gallery appears. Absolutely freezing with a next to useless radiator. Bedding had stains all over it and overall cleanliness not great. Also £100 for the pleasure and breakfast not included!! Not great!!!!

We stayed one night with our dog. Pleased with our large ground floor room. Food was reasonable.

Hotel looks lovely on approach. Nice size family room, although no lighting except lamps in main room so a little dark. TV did not get BBC. However perfectly acceptable stay - swimming pool a bonus. Nice breakfast. Staff friendly.

We have stayed here before and always found it comfortable with attentive staff a log fire would have been nice in the lounge .
