Great staff, good food. Poor WiFi connection

Nice hotel, great staff, food is very good, wifi is not the best of and on had to keep connecting

Lovely relaxing hotel , perfect base for some fantastic days out pity we only stayed 1 night, room was spotless & very comfortable

The hotel grounds are beautiful, in a peaceful and relaxing area. Breakfast is ok

My husband, myself and our 14 year old son stayed in a family room for 2 nights. The hotel is situated very well for trips into Chester or to visit North Wales. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. We dined at the hotel both nights and found the food very nice. Beautiful grounds to sit and enjoy a drink. The swimming pool was lovely and warm, very pleasant morning swim. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely return again and recommend.

Unfortunately when we went to check into this hotel yesterday 7th July we where told the rooms which we booked on the 1st April were occupied by people extending their stay! We were transferred to Hallmarks Queen Hotel Chester,the taxi fares there and back were reimbursed,but this was most inconvenient as we were part of a wedding party. On our return on the 8th July we took breakfast at the Llyndir Hall which was excellent and the staff very pleasant and courteous at all times.

Didn’t have booking details on arrival. Sofa wouldn’t pull out and no air con. Bed very hard and most of the channels didn’t work on the telly. Receptionist very friendly grounds around the hotel nice to look at. Nice pool and sauna

The outside facade and the gardens of this hotel are exceptional. The inside of the hotel was very dated. When we were waiting to check in on what was an extremely hot day I noticed a drinking water station with fresh lemon inside - my first thought was 'lovely' that is until I noticed the lid was off the top and there weren't any clean glasses. Our room was not very clean and in the bathroom along the side of the bath was black mould, when we showered water poured out from underneath and flooded the floor. I booked the hotel because it had a pool - the changing rooms were extremely dirty with mould etc. and there was no signage to the pool reception - which would have told us we needed a token for the lockers as new pound coins didn't work, we would have also have been given towels. My husband, in the male changing room asked a gym member who told him where the reception was. The pool tiled area was very dirty and the foot bath was slimy and disgusting. The pool itself was tiny. One good point - the breakfast was delicious. I would certainly not recommend this hotel and was very thankful it was only one night.

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
