Please check your cameras and see how the front desk lady, Denise treated me like garbage. I didn’t feel safe to stay there and left the property in less than 2 hours and stayed at my friend’s house in oakbrook

every thing is incorrect about this property on hotels dot com says break fast included, but no break past says kitch and utencils but kitchen no utencils, when asked we have to either purchase from hotel or bring our own.. says 5 pwople sleeps but did not provide blankets for 2 people. bath roon has just soap no shampo, no moisturizer no Iron , no hair dryer.. room full of bad odor.. overall worst than motel (ps i never been to motel) bottom line waste of money and i really thinking stop using hotels.com and as well as extended stay for life..

We’ve stayed here 3 times. Each time we come visit our family in Chicago from Florida. We come stay here with you guys.. it’s very convenient and the staff is very nice!

The first room that was given to me smelled like cat urine and I did not want to stay in that room. They moved me to room 133 downstairs to a new room with two beds and that room was much better, but the floor was all sticky, and the sink in the bathroom was clogged all the time so we had to use the kitchen sink for everything but everything else was exceptional and things happen

If you get to this hotel before check in time, good luck getting anything out of it. The front desk opens at 10am and you need a keycard to get into the lobby, there's no bathrooms available before you get to your room and the dont allow luggage to be held at the front desk. The floors of the room are sticky and the only amenity they provide is a soap bar. They only saving grace of the hotel is the front desk attendant Justin, who is by far the kindest hotel employee I've ever dealt with. He saved my trip. The employee before Justin said no to literally every interaction I heard. Im not sure why that person was even there it felt like talking to a wall.

"76 Year Old Disabled Woman Forced To Clean 3 Rooms"

To Whom It May Concern, On July 18, 2025, I traveled from Bentonia, Mississippi to Chicago, Illinois to lay my brother to rest. During such an emotional and difficult time, I expected my hotel accommodations to be the least of my concerns. Unfortunately, my experience at Extended Stay America was not only disappointing—it was completely unacceptable. I reserved and paid for two rooms with King-sized beds: Room 1: $329.65 for two nights (for myself and my sister) Room 2: $186.47 for one night (for my son and his family traveling from St. Louis) Upon entering Rooms 353 and 317, it was immediately evident that neither had been cleaned. Both rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite your website stating that all suites are non-smoking. The carpets were sticky and riddled with burn holes. I brought this to the attention of the evening manager, Justin, who—despite appearing overwhelmed—simply handed me cleaning supplies and left me to clean the rooms myself. I was forced to mop filthy floors, wipe down surfaces, reattach toilet seats to make the bathrooms usable, and dispose of trash—including a pair of dirty, hard socks left in one of the rooms. To make matters worse, the door to the room reserved for my son and his family did not lock. When I expressed my safety concerns to Justin, especially with my grandchildren staying in the room, his response was to ask if I "felt safe." I made it very clear that I did not. Around 10:30 PM, we were finally moved to a different room (Room 307), which was a downgrade with only a Queen-sized bed. Despite the downgrade, I was not offered any reimbursement for the rate difference. This third room was also filthy and required me to clean it myself. The pull-out bed’s mattress was stained and gray rather than white, and I had to retrieve our own linens for the pull-out beds. The condition of all three rooms was unacceptable and grossly misrepresented. Your website claims the suites are “newly renovated,” but what we encountered included: Broken shelves, drawers, and curtain rods Holes in chairs and ice trays A broken refrigerator and faulty drains Missing trim and overall poor maintenance On July 19, I called the property manager, Nelly Figueroa, who assured me I would receive an email to discuss a refund. I never received that email. I followed up on July 20 and was transferred to her voicemail by a front desk receptionist named Denise. I called three more times on July 21 and again on July 22. Only on my third attempt did Justin apologize and inform me that Nelly had already left for the day. It is now July 23, and I have still received no response. This entire situation is unacceptable. I am formally requesting a full reimbursement for both reservations for the following reasons: I was forced to clean three unsanitary rooms myself at 76 years old and disabled I was downgraded to a smaller room without a refund The property was misrepresented as clean, non-smoking, and newly renovated The experience added unnecessary stress and hardship during an already devastating time If I do not receive a full refund promptly, I will be taking further action to recover the amount I am rightfully owed.
