Beautiful rooms, great hospitality

A scrumptious breakfast, very friendly and helpful hosts who ensured we had a very pleasant stay.

Michelle and Steve were excellent hosts and this was one of the nicest accommodation we had in our 2 week holiday . The cottage was perfect for our stay, comfortable and quiet. I loved the fact that the Ecoya products were there too Michelle (my fav).! The breakfast was lovely and a great choice to be had, in the beautiful dining area. Also loved the company of Sadie (dog), reminded me our ours back home. Steve had us in stiches with his tales of past and it was a pleasure to stay there ! Had dinner at The Duntroon pub, 10 minutes drive away which was also great

We were made welcome the minute we arrived . Steve and Michelle are a well oiled machine as they ensured to make everyone welcome as well as preparing food , showing us around the property/ garden, making coffees and all the other sundry jobs they had to do.

This was the final night of our Alps 2 Ocean and it hit the spot perfectly. I echo all previous outstanding reviews. Michelle and Steve are great hosts. We felt welcome in their home and well looked after. The rooms and house are so beautiful and Michelles very generous home cooked meals were delicious. We loved all the special touches in the rooms, house and grounds. It was lovely to meet and chat with you both.

Michelle and Steve are warm and friendly and welcomed us into their comfortable and beautifully decorated home surrounded by a beautiful garden . Michelle’s home cooking was superb , her cookies , amazing dinner and dessert and hearty breakfast . Wish we’d stayed an extra day!

Michelle and Steve were so welcoming and accommodating during my stay. I arrived after a long day cycling and they made me comfortable straight away. I had dinner at the B&B as well and they sat and ate with me which was lovely. Both the breakfast and dinner were very tasty, I couldn't fault them. I had ordered a packed lunch to take with me the next day when I was cycling and this was a great treat also. The room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Perfect stop between Christchurch and Wanaka. Windhaven qualifies on our top ten list. They go the extra mile to make you feel really welcome.
