Morden Motor Inn

This was the most affordable option in Morden that was not a B + B, and it was perfectly fine for the price. The bathroom had been updated, and the furniture was new-ish, and all seemed clean enough. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The only issue was that the internet did not work at all in my room (room 217), and did not even show up on available wireless networks. I hardly dealt with the front-end staff and was in my room for a grand total of 10 hours, so I have no opinion about any other part of the hotel.

Recently renovated. Very clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Probably not the best family hotel. No pool but was great as a business hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms were not too small and well appointed. Price was very reasonable for the condition of the hotel.

I along with 3 others stayed here for work. I found the prices to be great @ $74.99 because of construction, with very pleasant staff. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Keep in mind it's not a 5 star hotel that your paying $200 a night.

Rooms are clean. Has a renovated bar, restaurant has great ambiance, we have been many times in the past, food is always excellent, wonderful friendly service & you will find the same in their coffee shop. Plenty of free parking in the back. A must stop if you are travelling in the area

So, we were in Morden for a "family" wedding. The Inn was all we really needed. We arrived in Morden about 3.30pm and the wedding was at 5.00 and we were at the wedding until 11.30ish when 8 yr old ran out of gas!!! We were given Rm 223 (I think it may have been their last room). It had 2 double beds, a mini fridge, TV, and an alarm clock radio. The small bathroom was newly renovated. The pillows were so so as were the towels. The Inn has a restaurant and a bar. Never went to either. The front desk staff was friendly.

First problem was a dirty broken coffee pot, which they finally swapped out from another room, next problem was the arm of one of the chairs was broken and almost caused me to fall. If you leave the room between 9p.m. and 8 a.m. you have to enter from the front of the motel as the other doors are all locked and your key card will not work. I was put in room 211 which was next to the door, I realized that the door would be an issue but not that bad, I was wrong. The people who lived above (not paying guests) tromped overhead and played their tv loud till after 1 a.m. and then the trucks started up at 5:38 a.m. with people exiting the door, all in all I had about 4 1/2 hours sleep. To add insult to injure another guest said that they(2 people) were paying $70 while I paid $90 for a single. This was an absolute terrible place to stay, I had picked it before my surgery because I thought it was far enough away from the highway to be quiet and restful---this was not to be. BYPASS THIS MOTEL.

Stayed one night while skiing at Holiday (they were full so we moved to morden the second night) OK hotel, pretty basic, pretty old, but hey it was clean. Food sucked, bar was rocking. Could be worse.

made reservations 1 month prior to our stay, when we got there to check in we were told there was no reservations ...quote- must have got lost due to our renovations... so right there i should have been warned, anyways ,got a room which was nice enough throughout, so had to get to sleep early cause our daughter had an early competition the following morning, well thats where i guess we made a mistake....everybody else decided it was party time , banging doors , swearing , laughing, etc. ...all this was taking place in the hallway and at 3:30 a.m. they decided to clean up the beer bottles, blankets, etc.so now we had 1.5 hours left to sleep!!!!! Nobody on the premises that was even remotely supervising the place, will definitely NEVER recommend this motel to anyone!

I live in Morden and had some family come out and stay for the Corn & Apple Festival. Because they knew it would be hard to get a room close to the date of this weekend the booked back in March. They reserved the "executive suites" but ended up only needing one of two of the rooms. When they called to cancel one of the rooms and were told these were not the rooms that were booked for them. Instead they were marked down for rooms across the street from the main building. My aunt even told them she had a confirmation number for her booking and was told it didn't matter. When they arrived they found the room was beyond run down. I visited the room they had and stayed with them one of the two nights booked. When i went into the room i was afraid to take my shoes off and have my bare feet touch the carpet. The bathroom was disgusting. There were stains on the walls and i had to take the top off the toilet tank to make it flush. We had to keep the t.v. on because it put off more light than the lamps. The towels looked like they came from the bargain bin at the dollar store and there was no hair dryer available. If we wanted any ice we would have had to cross the street and go to the main building. The cleaning personnel obviously did not vacuum the carpet after the first day. Please do not stay here ANYONE!!

Towels were very old and rough. No soap or shampoo. Brown stains in the toilet bowel. Unable to turn the cold faucet in the bathroom with using both hands and a towel. Requested softer towels but was told that these were only for the renovated section. No hangers, no stands to unpack luggage and limited reception on ancient TV. No coffee pot or coffee.
