Morden Motor Inn

My husband and I, along with 3 other couples from Kenora, On. recently booked 4 rooms at the Morden Motor Inn--we were there to golf at Minnewasta Golf Club the next day. We enjoyed the stay and found the desk, bar, and restaurant staff very pleasant, courteous, helpful and efficient. Our room was clean & tidy, the bathroom spotless. The thermostat did not work, but there was a heater to use, which was helpful. If there is one thing I would say should be improved, it would be the lighting in the room. The walls and furnishings are dark, and, although there were 4 lamps, and an overhead light at the door, the room was still somewhat dark. Perhaps white or off-white lampshades, would help. The area where the rooms were , was very quiet, and we had a good night's rest. We hope to go back to golf in Morden again, and would most certainly stay at the Morden Motor Inn again.

I stayed at the Morden Motor Inn in 2005. Our room was very unclean and the staff and management were very rude and inconciderite to me and my family. I wouldnt even recomend to my worst enemy to stay at such of a dive as this place.
