Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection By Hilton

Excellent location across from the beach, with complimentary beach chairs through a partner vendor. Nice touch with kids’ beach toys available. The room was very spacious, clean overall, and well-equipped with a kitchenette (sink, fridge, coffee machine), which made breakfast easy.

Umbrellas are not included and cost $30/day, which feels excessive. Staff were polite but not particularly proactive. The biggest issue was at checkout: we were told pool showers were available, but they were not working. With a late flight and a small child, we asked for an alternative (e.g., access to a room to rinse off), but no real solution was offered. We ended up using a public beach shower, which was a very unpleasant way to end the stay.
