Stunning property and very kind staff! Went in early May for a babymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. Will be back and bring the little one next year.

We were a couple with a 9year old girl. What an amazing hotel, amazing service, perfect location with great food in the hotel and perfect local restaurants outside. The beach is beautiful (we took a private Greek boat tour arranged by the hotel) that was amazing (we swam in the deep water and our daughter even got to catch some fish! Thank you George from Merakiscruises.gr!!) the rooms are perfect with a private pool and the hotel has 3 more pools that also feels very private with great bars) And don't forget the Spa! We had massages and facials (thank you Kostas and Eleni) and thy even has 20 kids massages that our daughter enjoyed very much.

We stayed at the hotel for a marriage proposal I made to my wife. The location was amazing, the hotel itself very beautiful, and the staff extremely accommodating. The only points I would mention as negatives are: in the welcome offer, while there was wine in the room, there was no wine opener, which I considered an oversight. Also, during check-out, the guest relations lady asked if we wanted lunch boxes with breakfast since we were leaving early in the morning, which I thought was a very nice gesture. However, when we checked out, the lunch boxes were not ready, and the staff seemed unaware, which I saw as a communication issue. Lastly, the staff member who handled our check-out didn’t ask how our stay was, which I also consider a shortcoming. Overall, it was a very beautiful experience and the staff were generally very helpful. The points I mentioned are minor details, but I believe they are important for reaching excellence. I would like to sincerely thank the staff who helped me organize such an important moment in my life, and especially Maria for her outstanding service during the private dinner.

I had a wonderful stay at the resort with my husband and a very relaxing visit to the Aegeo Spa on the resort. My therapist Eleni was terrific. She gave me a terrific deep tissue massage and her use of reflexology and stretching throughout was top notch. Thank you!

My mum and I stayed at Cayo Resort for 7 nights. I'd already stayed in Plaka a few years ago so knew it was a lovely location. We weren't disappointed in our stay at Cayo. We had a very friendly welcome and first impressions of the hotel very good. All the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Myrto was very helpful, as were all her colleagues, all the drivers that would pick up from the town in the evening (George was great and all his colleagues), staff in the breakfast buffet, housekeeping and the man who ran the bar at the pool by the gym. Hotel room was lovely (Superior Room – Private Pool – Sea View). Perfect size for the 2 of us and the outside space with the pool was heavenly with a wonderful view of the sea and Spinalonga. Absolutely immaculate decor and a lovely relaxed colour palate. Beds were comfortable. All the grounds of the hotel are immaculate and beautifully landscaped. It was never difficult to get a sun lounger around one of the pools which definitely made it easy to relax. Breakfast was superb. Lovely choice with some local produce and great service too. The freshly squeezed orange juice was very tasty every morning. The hotel arranged for us to take a speedboat over to Spinalonga which worked perfectly. We didn't do any other trips out as the hotel was so relaxing. Overall, a really great luxury hotel which we would recommend to others and hopefully we will return to one day.

I went for a Body scrub - excellent ! Very Good welcome, clean and charmant place to relax. A lot of body and face care. I recommand !

Because of proximity to the beach, the sea, its many pools and the mountains, Cayo resort is a wonderful place to have a relaxing vacation whilst not sitting in your hotel room. Whether swimming, spa-ing (shoutout Kostas), biking, hiking, or exploring you will have something to do, and if you don’t feel up for it, the pool that comes with each hotel room makes the experience accommodating and comfortable.

I booked this hotel as a surprise getaway for my husband—I paid for everything, from start to finish. So I was shocked and frankly upset by how completely I was erased from every stage of the experience. At check-in, the form originally had my name on it but had been covered up with Tippex so that it only addressed my husband. (I know this because I scratched it off the paper myself.) When we entered our room, there was a lovely welcome display of fruit and fizz—but again, with a card addressed only to him. When we checked out, I paid the final bill. Once more, the receipt was issued solely in his name. And finally, I received a feedback email from the hotel (to my email address) but it was still addressed only to him. It’s 2025. How is this still happening? I’m a woman who paid for this trip entirely on my own, and yet I was made invisible in every interaction. It’s more than just a small oversight—it’s a reflection of deeply outdated assumptions that have no place in a supposedly modern, high-end establishment.
