Clean, comfortable and wonderful location. Felt like a home away from home. Natsuki was so welcoming and caring about our time in Kyoto. She prepared a brilliant guide for our stay and we really enjoyed visiting lots of the places she suggested. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Nothing - the property was perfect for our stay and very comfortable. Myself, my husband and our 8 year old stayed at the property. My son particularly loved the bath!

Our host Natsuki was absolutely wonderful. Extremely accomodating and suuuper lovely. Went above and beyond for us - super clear communication, check in process, responsive, and Natsuki provided a personalised booklet of recommendations too. The accomodation exceeded our expectations, we all loved the entire stay. A really unique experience, while also comfortable modern and super spacious!! The toilet was the most high tech bidet I've ever seen. Also, the location is incredible: right in the heart of Kyoto and walking distance from multiple temples and the main shopping streets. Overall one of the best experiences we shared in Kyoto - glowing recommendations for all 4 of us!

The property was a little on the pricer side but definitely worth it!! Wish we were able to stay for longer.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful! We were allowed to drop off our bags early while the room was being cleaned so that we could enjoy sightseeing on our first day. The owner also prepared a suggested itinerary for us with lots of helpful suggestions and local tips. the location is a short walk to Gion-Shijo station so is super easy for people staying near Yodobayashi in Osaka. The home is very well appointed and the fittings are very high quality.

If you are tall (180 cm or over) then the door frames and the ceiling upstairs may be a little tight. we stayed here for 3 days and didn't struggle too much.

Natsuki San is a very nice person. She prepared our entire stay including a visiting programme and restaurants’ booking.

Beautiful Machiya house. Clean. Host was terrific - helpful, welcoming, prompt with responses to any queries. Kids loved the upstairs bedroom with internal window. In quiet residential street and close to ninenzaka and sannenzaka.

Downtown Kyoto with more shops/restaurants a bit further away although still only around 10-15 min walk. Upstairs ceiling height is a bit low although not troublesome as our kids stayed up there. I would emphasise though that these are both really minor points - overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation and host.

So perfect, clean and modern. Great location, easy check in and access and super friendly host.
