BelleVue Oasis-Palm Springs - Adults Only

A few amenities not working: hulu, light fixtures. Great atmosphere. Very quiet and enjoyable.

Why stay in an expensive big name (noisy) hotel over a bustling weekend when you can stay at serene, secluded, quiet BelleVue Oasis for a fraction of the cost? The adults only property is in a peaceful neighborhood one mile south of Palm Springs' Center, just east of South Palm Canyon Drive. Parking is right outside and FREE. After sleeping a solid 9 hours, we had energy to swim laps in the 24 hour pool, uninterrupted by Marco Polo & kids' cannonballs. The unit was a bright, cheery 1960's shabby chic suite adjacent to the tropical poolside garden - spotlessly clean, with white tile flooring, comfortable king bed, sofa, and separate bathroom with modern floor-to-ceiling glass walk-in shower. Expected comforts like flat screen TV, coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge, ice machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner, and pool towels are all included. You won't have a front desk clerk to socialize with, but once you get the hang of punching the gate and room codes, you'll feel like a resident. FYI: A manager is sequestered on property from morning til night, and available after hours via phone to answer questions and help with any issues.

The check-in process is terrible. The hotel is has protocols that they put in place during Covid and nothing has changed. They required a selfie holding your drivers license before they will provide a gate code or room access and sign off on a list of guidelines. There seems to be no one on the property. I really liked the hotel but it seems to have gone downhill and the front desk attendant was so rude. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had at a hotel.

I booked a room for 3 aduls since my parents and I were visiting Palm Springs. I booked the "Deluxe King Studio" room and paid $313 (including taxes & fees). The room was advertised as "Maximum number of adults is 3." When I arrived at the room, there was only 1 King bed and no bed for the 3rd adult to sleep. There was a loveseat, but it was not a sofa bed. I called the number on my registration and asked where the bed for the 3rd person was? The guy said, "All of our rooms have beds for 2." I replied, "The website says this room is for a maximum of 3 adults." He said, "You are allowed to have 3 adults in the room, but we only provide beds for 2." I was so confused. I said, "I don't think that's a thing you can do when you advertise the room is for 3 adults." He said, "That's just the way it is." No apology. Then, I asked for a roll-a-way bed and was told they don't have any. Next, I asked for a pillow and blanket and said I would do my best to sleep on the loveseat. He said, "We are booked tonight so I'm not sure we have any extras, but I'll try." I never received a pillow or blanket or any further communication from the hotel. My entire phone conversation was so bizzare that the guy almost made me feel like I was the crazy one asking for a bed! However, the next day, I learned I WAS the crazy one. I was educated by a friend that, when in Palm Springs, often "adult only" hotels have only one king size bed because the room is met for my partner and also THEIR partner! It's for those who enjoy having a "good time" with 3 adults to ONE bed. That thought/situtaion never even crossed my mind! Despite this craziness, the room was quite nice (if there were only 2 of us) and I enjoyed the jacuzzi. We never saw another person during our entire stay (despite it supposedly being a booked night). If I was traveling with my husband, I would consider staying here again IF I could get over the thought of having 3 people in my bed the night before... which I don't think I can get over. So... my experience here was interesting, eye-opening, and now a funny story to tell!

Great stay, great location!

The property and room were very quiet and clean. The hot water in our room was not working for a couple of days but the staff sent a maintenance person to check the hot water heater. Overall, it was a very good place to stay and was in a great location, close to downtown.

I had high expectations due to last stay, just wnated to get in and relax on the jacuzzi with the “amazing” view. jacuzzi did not work. Got into the room and took a hot bath, and no shower gel or soap and the Worse eas the water was getting stuck! We called abd broth the showwr gel after I finished and wanted to iron my clothe to ho to dinner and the iron did not work! End of the story

It was terrible experience going there as first time. Don’t know where to start with but since first day it was horrible. When we enter there find out the shower was broken. No supply at first day. As it’s mentioned adult only clothing optional we try to use swimming pool without clothes and one of there staff members literally yell and said put towel on you can’t swim like that. There jacuzzi was broken and told us to use the hotel next door with small jacuzzi and only two people can fit in there. After all this i came back from trip and find out there is extra charges on credit card without no email or explanation why by this hotel. Definitely not going back there.
