The room was comfy and tastefully decorated with all needed amenities. We were given a parking remote control with a dead battery. Since it was a specialized battery we called someone to retrieve it and replace the battery and return it to us. Someone came and retrieved it but did not return it back to us. The attempt to call several times took time when we didn't have time. So, for the two days we were there it was difficult waiting for other cars to drive in before us so that we could follow in. Once inside there was another electronic gate that would allow us to be parked in our designated spot and the remote would have opened that gate. Most all other cars did not go into that area. We would have to speak into an intercom and the building security could open it for us but since it was something they were not supposed to do they gave us the run-a-round and in a one on one person encounter towards the end of our stay one person became very angry at my wife.
SCAM DO NOT STAY HERE!The issues were endless and have stressed me out not only during my stay but still 10 days after I checked out.I arrived at the check in time,followed the checkin instructions and no key was in the lock box. There’s no front desk so you have to call them and they aren’t helpful. When I finally got into my room the floors were filthy. We booked parking spots in the building far in advance and paid for them. I followed the instructions to find the parking fob (also supposed to be in a lock box) and it was also no where to be found. I called the company and they gave me no help and hung up on me. They then emailed me saying the parking fob has issues so here’s a link to public parking in the city. Zero notice and zero consideration for us. They refunded the parking spot thankfully. Why weren’t we made aware of this in advance? We booked this place specifically because of the on site parking and then we were left to figure it out ourselves with no notice and after travelling 6 hours to get there. Finally when we checked out we followed all the instructions to be sure to get our deposit back (cleaned dishes, loaddishwasher, took out all garbages, AND RETURNED THE KEYS BACK TO THE LOCK BOX they should have been in). I then received an email that they couldn’t find the keys even tho we left them exactly where the check out instructions said to. I emailed for 10 days now explaining this and they just charged me the full $200 deposit for the keys we had returned.
Not bad but a lot of money for the quality, cheap furniture and if you need to contact customer service you’ll have no luck or help
Nice apartment in a nice area, while some of the check in process was a bit confusing, I just gave Globalstay a call and they helped walk me through the process! Would definitely book with them again!
