The most beautiful apartment we stayed at during our trip to mexico. Of course it is not that cheap but its totally worth the money. From the rooftop you have a unique view of the island. You get to see amazing sunsets and sunrises and because of the height there are also less mosquitos and other insects. We also can't complain about a thing referring to the interior of the apartment Super comfortable and well equipped. The host (Christina) was super friendly and helpful: there was a problem with the water in our apartment but as soon as we mentioned that she immediately organized someone to fix it. She also helped us with organizing tours and gave us very good recommendations on which tour we should do. She even gave us super helpful for our further travel plans.

On booking there is mentioned that you can pay by card, but thats not true. The only options are to pay by cash and paypal. So either you have to carry a big amount of cash to the island or if you choose paypal pay an exfra fee of 5% and another big fee because of a money exchange rate that paypal charges you (in our case that would have been 80 euros more in total). We ended up to pay by cash because there was an atm on the island which gladly had enough money in it (although the exchange rate was not great). At least we got the information of the payment options in advance so we were able to prepare and in general it was the only little problem which occured during our stay, so it was not a big deal, but it should be mentioned on booking that card is not an option.

Overall the design and the structure of the property and rooms was very nice, rooms are large and well equipped. The location is a little bit far from the center, but it guarantees you calm athomspere (the center is very noisy!).

Unfortunately we has some problems with electricity the first day, black out for several hours, and in particular with the toilet flush that didn't work for 2 days. Staff was kind but wasn't able to fix the problem and it was a little bit embarassing.
