Villa Los Mangles Boutique Hotel

We had an excellent stay at Villa Los Mangles. Cristina was very friendly and supportive. The location is top, you can arrive at the beach in 2 minutes and City Center in 10 minutes by foot. Overall, we really enjoyed our short vacation in this paradisical island!

Organizing the transport from Cancun airport was a bit challenging and the driver was speeding a lot.

We stayed in a private suite upstairs and it was perfect, well decorated, with great facilities and kitchenette (microwave, blender, kettle, toaster, fridge, uyensils). It's very private and has a wonderful outdoor space. Lovely lights and many windows. The proximity to the sea. Super friendly host. Sunrise and sunset views. Drinking water in the room was excellent touch.

We loved it all, if there was a pool it would be 110% but we could easily do without, there is a nice rooftop shower to freshen up.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and in a beautiful setting close to the beach. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but still a walking distance. The front yard is beautiful with trees and hammocks and it’s like a little paradise. The owner and her son were super helpful and friendly.

I liked everything about it.

Wonderful property in a great location. 2 minute walk to the best beaches in Holbox and around 10 to town. It’s also very well equipped, with a kitchenette and unexpected touches like a beach bag and beach towels! The host Cristina goes above and beyond to accommodate for our needs and guide us on where to go. Really laid back place, clean and perfect for a holbox vacation

Just a wonderful stay I’m these peaceful surroundings. Wauw! We loved the whole apartment and the outside surroundings as well. Isla Holbox has such a relaxed vibe and we would have loved to stay longer.

Everything was wonderful!

It was on the side of the Island towards Punta Mosquito, away from the noise and 1 block from the prettiest beach. (About a 10 to 15 minute walk to town.) At the bottom of the street you could rent beach loungers for 100 pesos per day. The property had that authentic jungly feel and the staff were terrific. They made us feel like family. Christine and her son Marco were so generous and genuinely nice people. We booked a kayak tour and Marco took care of that and had them pick us up from the property. They also arranged for our taxi back to the ferry. It had a pretty complete kitchen for cooking, although there were a few very inexpensive great and authentic places to eat just up the road, including a fruit and veggie market with great prices. We had no issues with electricity or water. We stayed in the Queen Suite for 7 days and it had the perfect feel and vibe for us!

The accommodation was great (we were in the terrace room) and it was really peaceful and relaxing. The room was great - with everything we needed and a short walk along the beach to the bars and restaurants. Mark (the manager) was amazing and such a nice guy. We were there during the storm and Mark was so helpful checking in on us and looking after us so well. We really appreciated it and would 100% recommend you booking!

Absolutely nothing!

The property is nicely kept and the rooms and large and very nice. Furthermore, the kitchen is very well equipped.

We had a horrible experience with the staff. The owner of the place was travelling and left Mark (who I think is her son) in charge. The property only took cash, and when we arrived we did not have enough cash. It was super late at night, so we said we would go to the ATM in the next day when we went into town again. After our morning beach in the next day, we went back to shower and Mark again asked for the money (which, honestly, it is very rare for hotels to ask you to pay before check-out). We said we were going into town and would go to the ATM to get the cash. We did that, but ended up going to dinner and drinks and out dancing. We returned home at 12AM, and Mark simply knocked on our door until we opened it to ask us for the money, saying that many customers went away without paying. It was the most disrespectful thing I ever went through in a hotel. Also - I booked through this platform where I left a credit card on file - If a customer run always, they can always charge in the credit card...

This property is beautiful, great location and has a wonderful property manager. We stayed here for a week and it made our trip what it was in Holbox. This place has a great location, just 10minutes walking from the central town which makes it easily accessible but away from the noise. The mornings here are lovely and so are the evenings as you don’t have to deal with any noise pollution. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and this part of the beach was our favorite in all of Holbox. The room is very clean, well equipped with everything you may need, beds are comfortable and AC works great. The best part of this property is the property manager, Cristina. She was so friendly and inviting, she helped us with everything we needed while we were there and was very quick to respond to anything we asked for. Her energy makes the hotel feel like a home away from home. This part of the island was my favorite, just off the central part to the East and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Holbox.

Villa Los Mangles Hotel is beautiful, and the staff is really awesome.

The place is kind of far from downtown Holbox, and unfortunately, when it rains, it's very hard to get to the hotel because all the streets around get completely flooded.
