The guesthouse was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxation.

The bed was comfy and tea/ coffee provided. Also a laundry pod provided and nifty fridge with a cool opening. The 3rd floor is entirely a balcony/ glass room so was a unique aspect.

Unfortunately the free toiletries were watered down bottles of Woolworths soaps and body washes, there were no streaming services available besides Youtube, no wood for the fireplace, none of the 4 spa baths were functional, and the sliding doors were extremely difficult to open to the point of just leaving them closed. Also no curtains or blinds in the entire sitting area so clear views inside the house from the outside/ making use of the TV difficult to see. I was expecting a bit of milk to use with the provided tea or coffee but maybe that was too far-fetched.

On arrival the property was closed up. No windows were open and it was stuffy and dusty. They knew that we were coming. They could have at least aired out the place. The kitchen appliances were scratched and battered. Everything was coated in a layer of dust. The windows were dirty. The swimming pool was broken and caked with sand at the bottom. The outside area was dirty, there was even a chicken bone on the paving! There were bird faeces on the tiles inside. There was no secure parking as we were not given access to the garage. The third floor loft didn't have wood or laminate wood flooring. It was concrete with a dirty white couch. The direct view is of a makeshift parking lot. There is no direct access to the street across the road from the beach or Mariner's Wharf. The beach is 900m away and not 100m as stated on booking.com. We didn't even stay for one night! It's all false advertising. And what's worse is that after sending the photos to booking.com and having the agent agree that the property is not as advertised (I have a recording of this), we have to fight to get our money back. AND this listing is still on booking.com!
