Villa de la Mer is in a stunning location with beautiful views. The area is quiet and safe. The property had wonderful facilities including a pool and ensuite in every bedroom. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. My family and I had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

We had the worse time of our life Claudia the owner of this accommodation And Janene who was supposed to be our host did us dirty . We paid for our accommodation on a Tuesday and they had to host us for 3 nights that’s Friday till Monday . We left from a different city to capetown and the moment our plane was landing on Friday just for us to get WhatsApp from 3 of different people Claudia , Kelly & Janene telling us we can’t get that apartment Cus there was no water . We requested and Uber and got there and they showed us one crazy apartment that we should stay there Cus there was no water in the apartment we paid for days back . They would have even showed us some curtesy by showing us where we paid for and say there’s not water but no they didn’t and expected us to stay in this other unit 3 blocks from where we booked which was of no standard . We had to start looking for other options that morning which we only succeeded in getting another place later in the evening Cus it was already weekend and many people had booked all the nice places . Atleast Claudia refunded our money back but that’s not the issue what if we had arrived at night what were we going to do ? We just noticed they had rented it out to another person maybe at a higher amount or they might have just been (RACIST) thus us . My thoughts but it was so humiliating

The house was clean and beautiful.

Honestly the was nothing wrong with the house, the problem was owner.

The location was excellent for our needs. Walking distance from the wharf and restaurants. Vila was clean and modern and our host Kerry was magnificent. She was vey helpful and answered all our requsts promptly.

Beautiful Location with gorgeous views over the Harbour and beach. The House is very spacious and each room has it's own private bathroom, beautifully furnished. Loved it there.

Could not get the bath jets to work in any bathroom, so more instructions would of been helpful; but still a gorgeous place and bathrooms.

The view was good, the furniture was comfy. Kelly was super friendly and accommodating. WiFi was great, rooms were spacious, it did feel like home away from Home.

I didn’t like how the ‘maintenance’ guy barged in while I was sitting on the couch and started walking around the property without acknowledging us while doors were open, we love in violent country, the least he could do was to introduce himself and who he is not just leave it us to assume who he is, he wasn’t even wearing uniform or anything like that. That wasn’t pleasant. 2. The place smelled of fresh cigarette when we came in, it quickly disappeared when we settled in after we opened doors, it appeared perhaps people that were cleaning the place were smoking either inside or outside closer to the doors.
