Friendly staff had a nice bedroom which was very comfortable

Quite noisy from traffic and loud music playing . Bed could have been it bit bigger . Bathroom quite small so little room to move

Warm welcome, cozy atmosphere, good value, clean tidy professional but relaxing environment.

There is a drainage issue. We told it would be fixed but it wasn’t. Had to swap rooms and was compensated which was fair. The site has no onsite reception team. So reporting issues is a phone call. New room had occasional drainage smell but that might be to do with the weather and age of the building.

Couldn't turn radiator off in room so very at night. No ale on tap.

Good location by the main A40.

The pub is very popular, so it is quite noisy, music on late etc. They do not do breakfast, which is not indicated anywhere, a self service coffee and tea machine plus some croissants in the bar would fix this. There were a few small snags in the room, but nothing worth listening here.
