"Don't stay there unless you have nowhere else to go"

I know this is cheap and cheerful but it was dirty and grubby, the carpets and skirting boards I don't think had ever been cleaned We also opted for breakfast in the good breakfast cafe which we couldn't eat as my husband found a long black hair in his full English and I am blonde The staff are the hotel we're nice and friendly but overall very disappointed

"Vomit smelling room"

Vomit smelling room, had to leave as other booked, but vacant rooms at 9pm could not be offered to me!! Even though I had booked!

Very basic room amenities! Bed base is not safe, due to the part missing, and subsequently banging my toes due to the space (Room 115). Was also sent a parking bill (£5) invoice, even though explained company parking had been paid via SNAP account! Overall check-in staff provided good customer service. Note: If you need a drink other than coffee & tea, visit the services. £2.80 for 500ml Dr Pepper. Booking with Expedia was last minute, very quick and easy!

"Decent hotel for breaking up a longer drive"

I've stayed at the hotel before, it's basically a bed to split a long drive - so I caveat any comments on that basis. It's not a hotel to be used as part of a "romantic getaway", that's for sure. Staff are very pleasant, helpful - I got checked in a bit earlier than stated check-in time. Room smelled foisty / damp and that had permeated somewhat into the bedding - but the bedding was clean and bed comfy, and arriving back to the hotel at 1.00am, I wasn't too fussed! Good powerful shower, plenty of hot water, shower head could do with being higher - it was pointed at my chest, but I am 6'3" tall, so shorter people probably won't have an issue. I'll stay again, for the reasons stated at the start, but definitely a "head down for a few hours" sort of hotel.

Pet friendly for our two cats, we are using hotel on M62 as a stepping stone between house moves, plus it's nearer to hubby's work, would recommend.

This was ideal for us for a late night stop following a music festival. It was cosy and quiet Please can I give special thanks and credit to Ahmed who was working the overnight shift on reception and was still really delightful and helpful. He really made sure we had everything we needed
