Holiday Inn Express Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland by IHG

Full of students and back packers. This is the second time I have stayed here and whilst the team are friendly, the management is lacking. The first stay, some students set off the smoke alarm at 1am which tipped the whole hotel out. My stay last night, the building alarm next door to the hotel went off at midnight and did not stop ringing. The managers response was "it is not our building" except is adjoins the hotel keeping the guests awake. This is more like a youth hostel rather than a business hotel.

Really nice and affordable place right across the Buchanan bus station. In the central area with 10 min walk to all the restaurants and bars that your heart can desire. Mall across the street as well.

We had an enjoyable time. Well located for Buchanan Street bus station, restaurants and shops.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly and very efficient and very helpful, the room was clean and and had all the extras needed. We would definitely stay again.

Visited the hotel at Easter weekend, part of an EasyJet holidays city break. Booked at short notice. Fantastic location for Glasgow city centre. Very short walk from Buchanan Bus Station which has regular buses to the airport. Lovely hotel great food. Unbelievably good value for money considering it’s location. Staff attentive and helpful.

What a very nice hotel lovely and clean and tidy and the breakfast lots of choices with friendly staff especially the front desk where very helpful the hotel is situated on centre of theatre land well worth a visit only 20 minute walk to botanica Gardens

The staff at this hotel were so helpful, pleasant and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast was delicious, good quality food. We couldn't have wished for a better stay.
