We had a lovely 2 bed room. Our dog was welcomed (though we were pointedly asked more than once whether our dog was being looked after when we walked by the front desk. (This is the first time, in visits to many hotels, that we were treated like this. The dog was quiet and well-behaved. It was the same person each time who asked us.) The food at Braxton's was always delicious and creative. We had tea on our second day and were delighted by the treats. The indoor pool was fun, and sitting in front of a big fire together was very relaxing. He took at ghost story tour....wish it had been told with a bit more passion.

The Front desk staff and Braxtons staff were exceptionally welcoming and very attentive, the room was comfortable newly renovated, spacious and well appointed, and the overall ambiance of Christmas is fabulous.For us it was a truly memorable stay.

Nothing at all. We’re already looking forward to returning once the sauna and massage center are completed!

Defective shower valve, defective headboard reading lights (one always on, one inoperable) and mechanical noise from heating duct. I reported this to the front desk on departure.

Beautiful grounds, beautiful and comfortable accommodations and interior spaces while still maintaining historic charm.

The only negative was the late night noises from groups on the lawn area at the fire pits (2:00 am).
