Fairmont Banff Springs

The hot spring pool was absolutely beautiful, and everything about the hotel was stunning. However, the Gatehouse suite was quite disappointing. The living room and bedroom felt small and cramped, almost like a cave, and the view was not great. It was also inconvenient to plug in appliances—making it hard to use the coffee maker, kettle, and other devices. Although a microwave was provided upon request, it was dirty inside and not properly cleaned, which was very disappointing.

Beautiful property

Lovely location. Lovely historical building. No AC in my room as it went out and no good air ventilation to cool the room. Roomed stayed at 26C all night. Slept in sweet and hard to sleep. I guess AC is a trade off for staying in a historical building and staff offered no solution.

we arrived late at nigh (about 10:30) due to flight problems. When we checked in, no one told us about the free breakfast with the gold rooms or anything else - just gave us a key and told us to have a nice stay
