Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Location is always a positive feature. The renovations were irksome and I was not prepared for the interruptions in service altho the staff did their best. I was not made aware ( or checked well enough myself) that we would not be located in the main lodge.

The location was beautiful, the property and lodge are gorgeous, very nice to see the mountains and the trees during our stay. Walked down to the lake to take mountain photos. Loved the view from here.

The room was very old, in desperate need of renovation. The room was not worth the over $1000 price tag per night. The 2 sunbeam fans were a touch of how cheap this room looked and felt. The bathroom was renovated, but so small that you couldn’t even go in and close the door. You had to straddle the toilet in order to shut the door behind you to have a shower. They also charged me 3 times for the room, and I’ve had to call multiple times for a refund, after charging me twice, I called and they issued me a refund for one, then the next day proceeded to charge me a third time instead. Super disappointing stay, I would never spend over $1000 on a room like this ever again.

Staff was excellent and overall facility was beautiful, including the location. Enjoyed the main building and ate 3 meals at the hotel plus drinks at the bar and outside.

Room was warm (no A/C) but when in the room, we were able to cool it down with the front and back doors open. Window alone was not enough to cool the unit. Unit was very expensive; however, we went during the peak summer months.

Les restaurants sont vraiment agréables, super expérience. Le personnel est vraiment top. L'ambiance générale fait un peu penser à une colonie de vacances de luxe.

Établissement fréquenté majoritairement par des personnes âgées, la chambre avait une légère odeur de maison de repos à notre arrivée. L'insonorisation laisse vraiment à désirer, pour le prix c'est le point le plus négatif, on attend mieux d'un tel établissement dont l'ambiance générale inspire le calme et la tranquillité.
